My daughter told me about the co-op homes in Park Forest and explaned how nice they were. I always enjoyed the area so I went to look at a 1 bedroom home and was pleasantly surprised. There were nice upgrades and the rooms were large. I have since moved in and have been here for almost 4 years now. The office staff is very pleasant and helpful when I need some maintenance done. They take care of repairs very fast, sometimes even the very next day. I enjoy it here and I believe you would too.

I have called Cedarwood Cooperative my home for over 20 years. I have been so pleased with the environment maintained by the men and women who work here. As a lifelong resident of Park Forest, it has been a pleasure to watch this property keep its high level of excellence over the years. Never once was I unsatisfied with my home or neighbors.

I absolutely love the whole concept of a housing cooperative. Why more cities do not offer this type of arrangement is beyond me. It is better than you can imagine, as far as financially and maintenance goes. My family and I have been here for almost a year now and have been thoroughly pleased by the way maintenance handles our requests, office staff tends to our needs and the property manager handles the care of the property. As a former property manager myself, I understand the challenges one faces with keeping up the integrity and appearance of a community. Our property manager SURPASSES my biased expectations by far and has truly placed the value of cedarwood as her top priority. It shows in everything from the capital improvement choices and landscaping. All in all, I am very impressed and recommend Cedarwood at every chance I can get.

My family and I recently moved to Cedarwood Cooperative last summer. We drove by and found the grounds to be well kept, our first sign that we would enjoy it here! After touring homes during their open house event, we quickly found 3 that we liked and started negotiating with the sellers. One seller accepted and we started the process of securing financing and applying for our membership through the office. After about 2 weeks, we were approved and moved in shortly after that. The entire process was smooth. I couldn't believe how easy it was to secure an affordable home in Park Forest.

Cedarwood cooperative is cool. The maintenance staff is very friendly. The property is maintained well and my neighbors are great. I enjoy taking walks around the community with my family. I've been living here since 2002.
